Who we are
KitKeeper is operated by Carter Gracin. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to support@kitkeeper.net.
Information we collect
Account and profile information
We collect information you provide, such as your email address, display name, username, profile photo, biography, preferred genres and scales, profile visibility, and messaging preferences. If you use Sign in with Apple, Apple may provide an email address and account identifier according to the choices you make with Apple.
Collection and build information
We store the kits, paints, supplies, categories, inventory status, progress, notes, timelines, and photos you choose to add. This information is private unless you intentionally publish a build or enable a public social profile.
Community activity
If you use Social Mode, we store posts, showcase photos, comments, replies, likes, follows, bookmarks, highlights, favorite supplies, reports, and blocks. Public profile and published-build information can be viewed by other signed-in KitKeeper users.
Technical information
Our service providers may process basic technical and security information, such as device and browser information, IP address, request logs, authentication events, and error details, to operate and protect the service.
Camera and photo access
KitKeeper requests camera or photo-library access only when you choose to take or select an image. Photos you select may be uploaded to your KitKeeper account. You can change device permissions at any time in your device settings.
How we use information
- Provide account authentication, cloud storage, inventory, build tracking, and social features.
- Display content according to your privacy and publishing choices.
- Respond to support, safety, and privacy requests.
- Detect abuse, investigate reports, enforce community rules, and secure the service.
- Maintain reliability and improve KitKeeper.
KitKeeper does not sell personal information and does not use personal information for cross-app advertising or tracking.
Service providers and disclosure
KitKeeper uses Appwrite for authentication, databases, server functions, and file storage, and Apple for Sign in with Apple when selected. These providers process information to provide their services to KitKeeper. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.
Your choices
You can edit your profile, disable Social Mode, unpublish builds, remove content, manage device permissions, and block other users. Turning off Social Mode removes your profile and published builds from social discovery, subject to processing time and content that must be retained for safety or legal reasons.
Retention and deletion
We retain information while your account is active and as needed to provide KitKeeper. You can permanently delete your account inside the app from Profile → Settings → Delete account. Account deletion removes your account and associated KitKeeper data, except information we must temporarily retain for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or resolving disputes. Backups and system logs may take additional time to expire.
Children
KitKeeper is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so we can investigate and delete it.
Security and international processing
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Information may be processed where KitKeeper and its service providers operate, subject to applicable protections.
Policy updates
We may update this policy as KitKeeper changes. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when a change materially affects your rights.
